clifton library permanent exhibit
Inspired by Japanese style woodblocks and naturalist practices, this piece pays homage to the wetlands habitat right off the Colorado River in Clifton, CO.

This work is inspired by the Clifton Nature Park located off of D Rd. This site is frequented by and home to a diverse ecosystem ranging from winged insects to great blue herons. I focused on a few of my favorite wildlife friends to build a scene that tells the story of a healthy habitat.
Using a silver foiling technique I was able to highlight certain aspects of the piece to create movement and closer relate to the shimmer of water or spiderwebs.
